It’s important for you and your spouse/partner to understand each others wishes and to have them clearly documented. Make sure the following documents are up to date:

Wills
Durable power of attorney
Living trusts
Living wills

Plan for the orderly transfer of your estate to those you would like to inherit your money and belongings.

Review the beneficiary designation you have on file for your Program account, or name one or more beneficiaries if you have not already done so.
